Blind Date with a Book – Starting Monday, February 1
Don't judge these books by their covers! Try a Blind Date with a Book this February! Starting Monday, February 1 you have two options for how to go on your blind date:
1. Take Your Pick: Starting on the 1, we'll have a display of wrapped books. Pick out your blind date based on the blurb on the front, check it out at the circulation desk, and open it when you get home!
2. Matchmaker: Tell us what you're looking for in a book, and we'll set you up with your blind date! Fill out a survey, and we'll have your book ready for you by February 9 for pick up. Find the link for the survey at www.southburylibrary.org/bookdate. This program is limited to 10 spots (first come, first served) and open to Grades 6-12.

Homework Help with Triloshan – Thursday, February 4 & 18 (separate sessions), 5-6pm on Zoom
Do you have a question about your science or math homework, or do you need some help understanding a concept from one of your STEM classes? Come to Homework Help with Triloshan on Zoom! Make and Take Craft: DIY Felt Cactus – Starting Monday, February 8 while supplies last.
Pick up complete kits to make your own felt cactus from the Teen Department starting Monday, February 8. More soft than spiky, these little cacti are as easy to care for as they are cute. Each kit will have instructions and all supplies needed (except scissors). Zoom Make and Take Meetup: DIY Felt Cactus – Monday, February 22 at 4:00 pm on Zoom
Join us for our Make and Take Monday Meetup! Join us to work on your felt cactus together, or to chat about how it went (note: if you are planning on working on it together, having your felt cut out before the program will help). Grades 6-12. Registration required.
