From Monday March 15-29, visit our Facebook page to view this lively Celtic music concert virtually.
The Jolly Beggars return with a rousing performance of Celtic music! Their five piece ensemble will treat your ears to the music of guitars, mandolin, tin whistles, mandola, tenor banjo, double bass, bodhran (Celtic drums), spoons, and more.
Their traditional songs and musical arrangements incorporate Irish folklore into the lyrics, and their reels and jigs are sure to get your eyes smiling and toes tapping!
The Jolly Beggars’ concerts have been fan favorites for over 6 years at Southbury Public Library. This year registration is not required, as the concert will be publicly available on the Southbury Library’s Facebook page from March 15-29.
Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library. Registration is not required. Please visit the link below for more information.
