The Southbury Public Library invites interested teens in Grades 6-12 and their families to join us for a virtual Maple Apple Blondies online class on Wednesday, October 20 from 5-6pm with Food Explorers.
Join the Registered Dieticians from Food Explorers to make maple apple blondies from scratch! These brownie wannabes are loaded with fall flavors. Right from the comfort of your own kitchen, bake along with us as our instructor walks everyone through the steps and answers any questions you may have. Space is limited and registration is required to reserve your spot and receive Zoom login credentials. Learn more, find out the ingredients list, and register on the library’s website at www.southburylibrary.org/events.
About Food Explorers: Founded by Registered Dietician Katie Shepherd, Food Explorers empowers children and teens to learn about food, nutrition, and healthy eating through hands-on activities, games, and child and teen friendly cooking lessons.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library, free, and open to residents of any town who are in Grades 6-12.
