9/20/2021 - Lucille Ball: The Queen of Hollywood on October 12, 2021

On Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 from 2-3:30pm on Zoom and streamed to the Kingsley Room, join us for this fun and informative lecture about famed actress and comedian Lucille Ball.

Join us to learn about Lucille Ball: the queen of television comedy. She is famous for her screen roles in “I Love Lucy” and “The Lucy Show.” Along with being an actress she was the first female CEO of a Hollywood production studio Desilu Productions and brought forth a number of great TV shows.

Mark Albertson is the historical research editor for the Army Aviation magazine, and the historian for the Army Aviation Association of America. He has taught classes on military history at Norwalk Community College as well as the Lifetime Learners Institute. Albertson has authored several books on military history.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency.
