9/14/2021 - Bruce Clark October 2021 Exhibit at Southbury Public Library

The Gloria Cachion Gallery at the Southbury Public Library will host acrylic abstract artist Bruce Clark, from Saturday, October 2, 2021 through Thursday, October 28th, 2021.

Bruce was born and raised in Windsor, Vermont. As a child, Bruce was always enthralled by the effects of kaleidoscopes, the color spectrum, and all things vividly colored and electrifying to the eye. Although he never had any formal training, the desire to work within the genre of colored abstracts gnawed at his creative soul. He began painting as an outlet from mundane work and obligation to find excitement and joy in creating abstract images of vivid colors and putting them on canvas. He continuously experiments with new techniques and materials. Most of his paintings are 2’x3’ framed acrylic abstractions of brilliant color.

Presently, Mr. Clark, who is retired, has amassed a large collection of these eclectic musings and is delighted to share them.

The exhibit will be open during regular library hours which are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am to 9:00pm, Saturdays 9:30am to 4:00pm and Sundays 12:00pm to 5:00pm. The exhibit will also be online too as a virtual gallery.
