The Gloria Cachion Gallery at the Southbury Public Library will be featuring “7 Artists, 7 Views: Exploring Fiber Art Styles” from Thursday, November 4, 2021 through Wednesday, December 29th, 2021.
Connecticut Fiber Arts Collective is a group of Connecticut Fiber Artists that will present an exhibition of fiber art exploring a diversity of themes and techniques. Selected works will focus on Art Quilting, Collage, Embroidery, Felting, Knitting, Mixed Media, and Rug Hooking.
This group of award-winning artists, curated by Rosalind Spann, has displayed art nationally and internationally and have art in museums and private collections. The participating artists include: Christina Blais, Diane Cadrain, Carine Greene, Mary Lackman, Linda Martin, Rosalind Spann, and Carol Vinick.
The exhibit will be open during regular library hours which are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am to 9:00pm, Saturdays 9:30am to 4:00pm and Sundays 12:00pm to 5:00pm. The exhibit will also be online too as a virtual gallery.
