2/14/2022 - Fierce Females in Art on March 11, 2022

On Friday, March 11th, 2022 from 2-3:30pm on Zoom and streamed to the Kingsley Room, join us for a program about history’s most famous women artists.

Join us and learn more about the history of women in art. Explore the lives, careers and works of several major women artists from the Renaissance to the twentieth century, including Artemisia Gentileschi and Mary Cassatt.

Jane Oneail is an independent scholar and holds a Master's in Art History from Boston University and a Master's in Art in Education from Harvard University. Jane owns the company Culturally Curious which delivers art appreciation programs like this one to audiences all over New England and beyond.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library. Registration is required. Zoom invitation links will be sent via email on the day of the program.
