Annie and the Natural Wonder Band are back! Rock out with Southbury locals Safari Bob & Annie. Join us for a lively music and dance experience.
Annie and Safari Bob create and perform fun-filled, interactive songs and dances about the wonders of nature for the whole family to enjoy. For the past 30 years the Natural Wonder Band has performed for over 850,000 friends around the world.
Annie has sung the National Anthem at Shea Stadium 3 times. Along with her husband, Safari Bob, she has performed at Avery Fisher Hall, The United Nations, Natural History Museum of L.A., the Beardsley Zoo and the Mystic, Norwalk, and Brooklyn Aquariums. Annie and Safari Bob wrote the centennial theme for the Wildlife Conservation Society and the group was the "house band" at the Bronx Zoo for over 25 years. The husband and wife team starred in "Annie's Place" on Cablevision, were spotlighted on "Good Day New York" and The Fairfield Exchange and featured in the New York Times, Family Fun Magazine, The Gannet Papers, The Hartford Courant, and Gleanings Magazine. The married duo has performed at hundreds of schools, libraries, museum, gardens, zoo's, aquariums and city and town parks. in addition to performing full time, Annie has honed her craft through teaching pre-school music for 25 years. One of their proudest accomplishments is their honorary membership in the United Nations Environmental Programme.
