On Friday, September 30th, 2022 from 2-3:30pm in the Kingsley Room, join us and learn more about the 1950 US Census and how to find your relatives in it.
This mid-century US Census, covering 48 states and numerous territories, contains a treasure trove of genealogical information, all available for free. Step by step, see how to search for ancestors and relatives who were counted in this Census, and where to look for special clues on each questionnaire page. Also learn about the important assumptions and quirks built into the questions, and how to interpret ancestors' answers in the context of that time and place.
