The Gloria Cachion Gallery at the Southbury Public Library will showcase the photography of Victoria Foulke from Tuesday, October 4, 2022 through Sunday, October 30, 2022.
Victoria will share her love of the natural world as shown in her photography. Her images make viewers feel as if they could reach out and touch their subjects. Foulke took a videography course from Spectrum, then posted her videos on her own Facebook and YouTube Channel. She then tried her hand – and artistic eye – at “close up and landscape” photography. In this month-long photography exhibit, her photos of flowers, pollinators and landscapes in nature come alive in pictures.
One of her photos placed 2nd place at the 2022 Connecticut Flower Show. Her photos also have been displayed in local papers, Flanders Nature Center, and Bluebird Magazine. She is a member of several local groups including Flanders Photography Club, Pomperaug Valley Garden Club, CT Audubon, and AMC – Appalachian Mountain Club.
The exhibit will be open during regular library hours which are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am to 9:00pm, Saturdays 9:30am to 4:00pm and Sundays 12:00pm to 5:00pm. The exhibit will also be online too as a virtual gallery.
