10/5/2022 - Teen Managing Stress and Anxiety Event Series

The Southbury Public Library invites interested teens in Grades 6-12 to join us for our upcoming Managing Stress and Anxiety event series consisting of 10 Tips to Manage Stress on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 6-7pm and 12 Tips to Manage Anxiety on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 6-7:30pm; both events are in the Kingsley Room of the Southbury Public Library.

10 Tips to Manage Stress: Thursday, November 3 from 6-7pm in the Kingsley Room; for Grades 6-12

Even though stress happens to all of us, going through stressful times with less stress can be a learned skill. Join us as Dr. Wendy Hurwitz presents techniques to minimize stress and maximize vitality.

12 Tips to Manage Anxiety: Thursday, December 1 from 6-7pm in the Kingsley Room; for Grades 6-12

Join us to learn about anxiety and what you can do to help prevent it and manage it when it occurs, with Dr. Wendy Hurwitz. Get information, tools, and techniques to help reduce and relieve anxiety and help regain and restore balance and calm.

Both of these events are part of a series. You can attend one or both programs; each contains different tips and information, but they complement each other very well.
