The Southbury Public Library Youth Services department is thrilled to welcome back the Registered Dietitians from Food Explorers for new in-person cooking programs. We’re offering programs for preschoolers and elementary aged children and their families in November.
Food Explorers: S’mores Cups – Wednesday, November 2 at 4:30 pm in the Kingsley room. Join Food Explores and learn how to make this quick and cozy recipe perfect for a dessert or snack. Ages 7 & up. Tiny Food Explorers – Tuesday, November 22 at 11:00 am in the Kingsley room. Join Miss Lara for some fun with food! Come and explore new flavors and textures while playing games all about food and MyPlate! You’ll make a hands-on healthy snack that even the pickiest of eaters will be keen to try.
