The Southbury Public Library Youth Services department is thrilled to welcome back the Registered Dietitians from Food Explorers for two in-person cooking programs. We’re offering programs for preschoolers and elementary aged children and their families in December.
Tiny Food Explorers – Tuesday, December 20 at 11:00 am in the Kingsley room. Join Miss Lara for some fun with food! Come and explore new flavors and textures while playing games all about food and MyPlate! You’ll make a hands-on healthy snack that even the pickiest of eaters will be keen to try. Food Explorers: Hot Chocolate Mousse Cups – Thursday, December 29 at 1:00 pm in the Kingsley room. Join Food Explores and learn how to make this quick and cozy recipe perfect for a dessert or snack.
