The Southbury Public Library invites interested teens in Grades 6-12 to join us for our Teen DIY: Magazine Collage Silhouette Art event from 4-5pm on Monday, February 13, 2023 in the Brown Room of the Southbury Public Library.
Join us for this month's Teen DIY, where we'll upcycle magazines into cool collage art! Using a variety of colors of strips of paper upcycled from old magazines and store circulars, you'll make a collage for your background. Then, take your pick of several silhouetted shapes, and overlay it on top of your collaged background. Silhouetted shapes will include a bird, tree, cat in a window, and wolf.
