The Southbury Public Library Youth Services department is pleased to host members of the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra as they perform a read aloud and musical performance of the children’s book Ben’s Trumpet by Rachel Isadora on October 27th at 10:30am in the Kingsley Room.
Creating Musical Readers is a musical literacy program recommended for children ages 8 and under, developed and presented by the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra. WSO musicians bring beloved children’s stories to life, reading aloud and playing their instruments as part of “story time” at public libraries throughout the region.
