Come join Southbury Poet Laureate Faith Vicinanza as she leads a writing workshop as part of a year-long series. Explore the writing process through writing prompts and sharing your work. Any time is the perfect time to work on a new skill, or spend time with an old friend, your writing, whether you write poetry or prose, short fiction, non-fiction, or a blog. You do not need to attend every session. We welcome newcomers.
Faith Vicinanza is a published poet and visual artist who has resided in Southbury since 2016. Ms. Vicinanza has published 4 books of poetry, with 3 more on the way. She was a nominee for State Poet Laureate in 2000 and the recipient of the Connecticut Commission on the Arts Advocate for the Arts Award in 2003.
