12/18/2023 - The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy Program on January 11, 2024

On Thursday, January 11th, 2024 from 2-3:30pm on Zoom and streamed to the Kingsley Room, join us for a virtual program and learn more about the tragic assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

On November 22, 1963, the assassination of President John F. Kennedy stunned a nation. Join us in remembrance of the 60th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy and its impact in history. We will survey the world prior to Kennedy’s presidency, as well as during.

Mark Albertson is the historical research editor for the Army Aviation magazine, and the historian for the Army Aviation Association of America. He has taught classes on military history at Norwalk Community College as well as the Lifetime Learners Institute. Albertson has authored several books on military history.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Library.
