On Friday, January 19th, 2024 from 2-3:30pm on Zoom and streamed to the Kingsley Room, join us for a virtual program and learn more about one of the most popular musicals of all time: Les Miserables.
How could anyone – let alone two inexperienced French songwriters -- turn Victor Hugo’s epic 1200-page novel into one of the most popular musicals of all time? And who guided the show to international success? John Kenrick returns to tell us the fascinating story of how Les Miz sang its way to acclaim all around the world, as well as a successful film version.
