Happy Heart Health month!! Join Community Health Nurse, Heidi Bettcher, from Housatonic Valley Health District to discuss important ways you can be heart healthy including topics on blood pressure, diet and cardiovascular health. Heidi Bettcher will also be present to take your blood pressure on 02/27 from 11am-12pm.
The Housatonic Valley Health District serves New Milford, Oxford, Southbury, Washington, and Woodbury. The mission of the Housatonic Valley Health District is to create better health outcomes and promote the highest attainable standard of health. VHD conducts outreach to engage their communities that experience obstacles in accessing the public health services they need, deliver vaccines to the community, and advocate for needed and beneficial health policies.
