Snow Sculpture Contest
Submit by March 17, 2025

This winter, go outside and build a snowman, fort, or anything your creativity takes you! Take a picture of your snow masterpiece and submit it to Parks & Recreation at www.southbury-ct.org/snow-sculpture-contest. The winners will be announced by at the end of April.
Mommy and Me Yoga

This program focuses on movement and meditation to help mothers honor their body changes, connect with themselves and strengthen bonds with their babies.

Underwater Hockey Free Trial

Anyone who likes swimming will enjoy this fun, no contact team sport. Equipment and instruction will be provided, but bring a snorkel, fins, and a mask if you have your own. Players will use a weighted puck and a shorter stick for better control under water. No experience required. For ages 14+. Details and registration.
Guess the Number of Toys in the Jar
Ends March 28, 2025
Southbury Parks and Recreation, 561 Main Street South

Come to the Parks & Recreation Office to guess the number of toys in the jar. Fill out a slip of paper with your contact information and your guess of the total number of toys in the jar. All ages are welcome to participate and there is no fee to guess. Guess deadline: March 28th. The winner will receive one free Parks and Recreation Clubhouse program and an option for a photo to be taken and posted on the Town of Southbury's social media, plus bragging rights!
Spring Extravaganza!

Join us for our Annual Spring Extravaganza for spring and holiday-themed crafts, decorated spring scenes for photo opportunities, two candy scrambles and sensory-friendly activities. While there is no fee for the Spring Extravaganza, all participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Southbury Food Bank. Click for more information.

Learn about Ann's Place and their free support services helping families facing cancer. Ann's Place uses a variety of techniques to help their clients reduce anxiety and stress. This session will share some of those techniques which can help you build resilience so you can better handle when life turns you upside down.
