The Town of Southbury has launched a job portal on the town’s website to address the labor shortage negatively affecting Southbury business owners struggling to find the help they need to operate their businesses. The portal is aimed at helping to get the word out about job openings and serve as a resource for members of the community looking for work. Businesses are encouraged to submit their job openings for posting on the town page at no cost. “I hope this will be a helpful resource for citizens who would like to work in Southbury and benefit the local businesses as well,” says First Selectman, Jeff Manville.

The page can be found at www.southbury-ct.org/work-in-southbury. Questions regarding the portal can be directed to Southbury’s Economic Development Director at ecodevdirector@southbury-ct.gov.
