C.I.T. PROGRAM
Counselor-In-Training (C.I.T.s) is a program for Grades 9-12 who enjoy spending time with children, and want to help the community while learning leadership skills. C.I.T.s are expected at camp between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm daily for the week they are registered for. C.I.T. Participants will get to partake in all camp activities with their group, go on field trips, have the opportunity to lead a craft/activity station, and participate in weekly leadership training and meeting with the Camp Assistant Director (or another supervisor role in the event the Camp Assistant Director is not available).

The reference letter and application can be submitted to Southbury Parks and Recreation located on 561 Main Street South, or e-mailed to Lexi Polasek at parkrec5@southbury-ct.gov. Deadline for submission is April 20, 2023. All candidates will be interviewed for this position. Then candidates selected for the position need to complete the C.I.T. Program process by paying a fee.

MATH SAT TEST PREP
Students will use Official College Board materials to practice taking the Math SAT test, including review of the October 2022 PSAT. Test taking strategies will also be discussed. Practice will focus on the most common SAT material. This 4-session class is timed to the March 11, 2023 SAT.
Students will need access to a laptop, tablet or smart-phone to access online materials. Materials can also be printed in advance. Students will also need a calculator, notepad, and a pencil. Class appropriate for students in Algebra 2 or higher. Deadline to register is February 8, 2023.
