DIY Clubhouse
The Parks and Rec Clubhouse provides a space to meet and make new friends through specialized activities for ages 5 and up. Participate in different & unique activities while our staff helps guide you through your adventures. And the best part is that we clean up the mess!
These programs will be held at 561 Main Street South in Southbury, CT in the Parks & Recreation Building - Multipurpose Room.
SLIME LAB (Ages 5 & up)
All participants will be able to make 2 different types of slime to take home. Participants can add scents, colors, charms and/or little pieces of décor.

TIE DYE LAB (Ages 3 & up)
All participants will be able to make a tie-dye shirt to take home. We provide the shirt and all materials. Children ages 3-6 must have a parent/guardian on-site with them to help with the shirt folds and assist with dying. Our instructors will demonstrate different ways to fold a shirt and provide assistance when applicable. Participants will get to take home their tie dye shirt in a bag, with instructions on washing.
Please come dressed down (in clothes to get messy). If you get tie-dye on your clothes or shoes, it will stain!

Calling all Southbury area Pokémon Trainers!
Pokémon Go Raid Hours are back! Sit comfortably in a bus with your fellow trainers and let us drive you to local Raids to battle as a team! Tour will stop at a minimum of 7 gyms during Raid Hour before returning to Parks and Rec, please ensure you have the in-game items ready to go. (Reach out with any questions on requirements for participation.)
Tours will leave from the Parks and Recreation building (561 Main Street South Southbury) at 5:55pm PROMPTLY. Please arrive on time at 5:45pm to get settled on the bus.
