Southbury Parks and Recreation (SPR) in partnership with the Arts and Culture Subcommittee of the Southbury Economic Development Commission (ACSSEDC) and Middlebury and Southbury Equity and Inclusion Council (MSEIC) is having its second annual collaborated special event: Art in the Park!
Overview of this Free Event
Join us for a day of free arts & crafts projects and recreational activities. Learn a new technique while you create your own art or try your hand at a free craft project.
Participate in a free raffle drawing for a fun prize. Food trucks will be on-site for you to purchase a quick lunch or snack featuring Lucky Dog Food Truck and Polar Sweets LLC.
Location/Details
This event is free to attend and will be held on Saturday, May 11. 10am-11am will feature a sensory friendly hour. 11am-2pm for general admission.
Art in the Park will be held at Ballantine Park located at 611 Old Field Road. In the event of rain or bad weather, this event will be held indoors at the Southbury Parks and Recreation Building at 561 Main Street South.
