Fall Leaf Craft
We have partnered with the Southbury Land Trust for a fun fall craft inside our building after school! We will have several leaf craft options for reference, or you can create your masterpiece. All supplies are provided for you by the Land Trust, all you need to bring is your creativity!
(You are welcome to bring your leaves too if you've found any special ones this season!)
Space is limited to the first fifteen registrants!
The programs is free and will take place at Southbury Parks and Recreation, 561 Main St South, Southbury.
Parks and Recreation Clubhouse
The Parks & Rec Clubhouse provides a space to meet and make new friends through specialized activities for various ages. Participate in different & unique activities while our staff helps guide you through your adventures. And the best part is that we clean up the mess! Our activities range from seasonal activities, science/learning activities, sensory learning and other messy crafts & activities!
In Slime Lab (Ages 5 & up), participants will get to create their own slime mixture, with added in colors, scents and add-ins.
In Holiday Lab (Ages 2 & up), participants will make their own snowman hand print ornament and a snow globe! Participants that do not want to do a snowman hand print ornament, there will be other examples to create your ornament with paint, glitter, ribbon and more.
Parks & Recreation will supply all materials to make these projects and assist with assembly as needed. Children ages 2 - 7 must have a parent/guardian on site to supervise and assist with acrylic paints and other small pieces for crafts.
These programs will take place at Southbury Parks and Recreation, 561 Main St South, Southbury.
