WINTER GUESSING CONTEST: How Many Toys Are in the Jar? – by March 28, 2025

Come to the Parks & Recreation Office to guess the number of toys in the jar. Fill out a slip of paper with your contact information and your guess of the total number of toys in the jar. All ages are welcome to participate and there is no fee to guess. Guess deadline is NEXT WEEK: March 28th.
The winner will receive one free Parks and Recreation Clubhouse program and an option for a photo to be taken and posted on the Town of Southbury's social media, plus bragging rights!

MOMMY AND ME YOGA – March 22, 2025, 9:30am-10:30am

Mommy and Me: Infants is a unique program offered by Certified Wellness Coach and Yoga Teacher, Natalie. This program focuses on movement and meditation to help mothers honor their body changes, connect with themselves, and strengthen bonds between all adults and their babies. Mommy and Me aims to promote relaxation, restoration, and nurturing while fostering creativity, fun, and joy in the journey of parenthood! Plus, learn self-care practices such as: energy healing and breath-work to empower personal well-being. This FREE trial class introduces participants to Natalie's program.

UNDERWATER HOCKEY FREE TRIAL AT PHS – March 22, 2025, 1:30pm-3:30pm

Anyone who likes swimming will enjoy this fun, no contact team sport. Equipment and instruction will be provided, but bring a snorkel, fins, and a mask if you have your own. Players will use a weighted puck and a shorter stick for better control under water. No experience required. For ages 14+.
Program will be held at Pomperaug High School Pool, 234 Judd Rd, Southbury. Registration open until program start. Details and Registration

STAYING GROUNDED: WELLNESS TIPS sponsored by Ann’s Place – April 3, 2025, 6:00pm-7:00pm
Learn about Ann's Place and their free support services helping families facing cancer. Ann's Place uses a variety of techniques to help their clients reduce anxiety and stress. This session will share some of those techniques which can help you build resilience so you can better handle when life turns you upside down. Facilitated by Shannon Cobb, President and CEO and Uwa Osagie, Manager, Community Partnerships of Ann's Place.
