Textile Recycling
The Town of Southbury has partnered with Bay State Textiles company to accept textile at its Transfer Station. Residents may deposit them in the designated container located on the first level.
According to Bay State Textiles, 95% of all textiles can be recycled or reused and they accept donations in any condition as long as it’s clean and dry.
There is no drop off fee for this service.

| Clothing |
| blazers, coats, dresses, jeans, pajamas, pants, shorts, skirts, slacks, slips, socks, sweaters, sweatpants, sweatshirts, tank tops, tops, t-shirts, undergarments, etc. |
| Footwear |
| boots, cleats, dress boots, flip flops, heels, pumps, sandals, shoes, slippers, sneakers, winter boots, work boots |
| Linens |
| aprons, blankets, comforters, dish towels, draperies, placemats, sheets, table linens, throw rugs |
