MESSAGE FROM P&R DIRECTOR
I hope everyone had an amazing Summer and a smooth transition into the new school year. It’s going to be a great year ahead! I’d like to thank all the parents who sent their kids to our Adventure Day Camp and Teenscape Camp this Summer. Your children are a joy to be with and we love watching them grow. Thank-you to all the patrons who visited or bought memberships to our town pool. We hope you enjoyed the new layout and the zero entry area.
As the Summer winds down, our team in the office is working on our first ever Fall Movie night with Fall festivities. Make sure you save the date of Saturday October 18th so you don’t miss out on the Fall fun!

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES AT SETTLERS PARK

Thank you to everyone who joined our outdoor concerts in the new location at Settlers Park. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive from both the bands and the audience. A special shout-out goes to Don Feuerstein and Ellie Hanna, both Southbury residents, who helped bring the vision of a more proper band venue to life. Ellie’s band, One Track Mind, held a fundraiser back in May which enabled us to purchase sound baffles for the ceiling of the gazebo and acoustical curtain backdrops. Thank you to all who donated! Then Don, Ellie, and the band volunteered their time to install baffles, hooks, and lights making it a better experience for all. Also thank you to Lucky Dog Food Truck for being at the concerts.
Plans for next year are already in the works, thank you for an amazing summer!
SUMMER FUN AT THE TOWN POOL

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Southbury Town Pool this summer! Your enthusiasm and support made our first season at the new pool truly special. We saw an amazing number of residents through the summer and nearly doubled the number of season pass holders from last year!
We kicked off August with our annual Middle School Pool Party, an evening full of energy, laughter, and fun. Over 75 rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders came to the pool to enjoy music, games, and contests. The next day, we welcomed even more smiling faces at our annual Family Day Pool Party. With free access to the pool, it was great to see so many local families enjoying the sunshine and making the most of the new facility together.
Thanks again for helping make this season such a success. Our final day will be this Monday, September 1, please see our website for hours of operation. We’re already looking forward to many more summers to come!
