Musical Talent Submissions

Southbury Celebration Committee is looking for local area musical talent to volunteer to perform at this year's Southbury Celebration event on Saturday, September 7 (with rain date on Sunday, September 8). The event starts at 4:30pm and the musicians will be allocated between 5 to 20 minutes to perform.

The Committee would like to invite performers of all ages to perform music with intergenerational appeal and focus mostly on very recognizable cover songs. Music of all genres welcomed, i.e.: Pop; Folk; Rock; Jazz; Standards; Broadway; etc. Performers may use live accompaniment or karaoke tracks. Due to size and time restrictions, we encourage groups to limit their numbers to five performers in the group.

Please fill out the form below and submit a video for review. Videos may be submitted via YouTube links or uploading a video file. There is a place in the form for any questions, concerns or special accommodations.

The Committee will review all submissions and choose the performers that fit the spirit of the event. Performers will be selected by Committee taking into consideration entertainment factor and available space on the program.

The performers chosen will have the experience to perform in front of thousands from their community and will not be financially compensated.

The deadline for submission is Sunday, July 28, 2024. Early submissions greatly appreciated.
