General Information
The Buildings and Grounds Department provides the maintenance of the Town’s facilities and outside properties.
The following is a brief overview of our primary responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of municipal buildings
- Grounds keeping for all public buildings and parks
- Select open space and roadside mowing and maintenance
- Town playground equipment maintenance and construction
- Athletic field maintenance and game preparation for youth/adult athletic programs
- Maintenance and protection of trees and bushes within the Town properties and right of ways
- Miscellaneous support services to other Town agencies
